Everyday when I get to work, I try to take a few minutes to get my creativity flowing by picking up a Sharpie and Post-it Notes and drawing something, anything. Sometimes, I’ll add in some highlighters for color.

Background: When I was very young, my dad introduced me to the Sharpie, maybe even before crayons. He always praised a good Sharpie. No matter what the project, a Sharpie was leading the way.

I totally adopted his love for the worlds greatest marker. I’m never without a Sharpie.

When I was in college, I realized the dynamic relationship of the Sharpie and the Post-it Note. They are the perfect combo. With the vast drawing potential of a Sharpie, but the limited canvas of a Post-it Note, it created a unique way for me to exercise my skills and be creative at the same time.

That’s why I chose @stuffonapostit (@ stuff on a post it) for my Twitter and Instagram names.

I just recently decided to start posting my daily drawings on Instagram. Here are a few selects.
